New Camera Coming – Nikon D60

Charlotte and I have decided to go to Hawaii for our honeymoon at the beginning of March. I’ve been holding off buying a new digital camera after stupidly losing mine, but we both agreed that it was crazy not to have a nice camera while we’re spending two weeks in a tropical paradise, so we bit the bullet and picked one up.
I’m pretty excited. I’ve never owned a digital SLR before, and the D60 is capable of taking some beautiful pictures. I bought a package which includes an 18-55 AF lens, a 55-200 AF lens, telephoto and wide-angle converters and a bunch of other crazy stuff that you can see if you click that image on the right.
This means I’ll be putting the Flickr widget back up, since it’ll actually have content again. It also means I’ll probably be making occasional blog posts on photography, and on stuff in Brooklyn (and other places) that I’ve photographed. I’m looking forward to it!
